Merde is a 5 min. short film, which is an immensely simple tale of a girl, lost.

The film is also an immense undertaking—a transatlantic epic filmed in Paris, London, and New York City— one that reminds us to enjoy the journey because even the best laid plans often go awry.

Written, produced, and starring Jaclynn Larington with me as director and DP, the film took three years to make, and I love everything about it.

There is no dialogue- only score and sound design. The footage was captured on a set of 1960s Super 16mm lenses and color graded at Color Collective

Most importantly, I got to work with a friend on turning a metaphor into an unforgettable story
